At Flying Horse Cafe we’re passionate about our coffee. A cup should be an experience to savor and we strive for that perfect balance to delight your senses. Our coffee is sourced from small coffee farms around the world to produce our special blend. The coffee berries selected produce the right amount of oils that give our coffee that right amount of flavor. After harvesting, the coffee beans come to our own coffee roaster in Emeryville, CA. It’s roasted in small batches using our process that was developed under the mentorship of the legendary Alfred Peet. By roasting our own we are able to control the process which gives our house blend that unique and wonderful flavor and aroma.
Coffee is more than a beverage to us. It is an escape from the workday, it fuels inspiration, and drives us on. A cup of coffee should be an experience and we do our best to provide not only a great cup, but a welcome environment to enjoy as well. That feeling that’s created is what we like to call our “Liquid Culture”.
